About Dr. Ta
Although born in Des Moines, Iowa, Dr. Theresa Ta spent most of her upbringing in San Jose, California. As a true local, Dr. Ta attended San Jose State University, where she graduated at the top of her class with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology. During her time there, she was deeply involved in the chemistry and biology departments, assisting with tutoring, research, and supporting her professors. Dr. Ta continued her educational journey at the prestigious UCLA School of Dentistry, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
After earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, Dr. Theresa Ta pursued advanced training in cosmetic dentistry through a residency with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). Passionate about staying at the forefront of dental advancements, she regularly enhances her skills with continuing education courses. Dr. Ta specializes in minimally invasive treatments, focusing on options like Invisalign and aesthetic composite bonding to create beautiful, natural-looking smiles. With a true appreciation for the artistry in dentistry, Dr. Ta combines her technical expertise with a meticulous, personalized approach to help her patients achieve their ideal smiles.
In her free time, Dr. Ta loves skiing, traveling, discovering new cafés and restaurants, and spending quality time with her friends and family, as well as her two cats, Pepper and Jinx.
