About Dr. Raja

Dr. Raja earned her Doctor of Dental Science degree from UCSF Dental School after receiving her Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UCSD. UCSF Dental School presented her with the Alumni Award for Clinical Excellence. She completed an additional year of residency at UCSF in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. She is a Diamond Plus Invisalign specialist and currently pursuing further education in airway solutions to treat obstructive sleep apnea.

The Diamond Plus Invisalign achievement is only awarded to top 1% of specialists who perform over 200 Invisalign treatments every 6 months.

Prior experience

Skilled in treating complex general and cosmetic dental cases, Dr. Raja was chosen to serve as an assistant clinical professor at UCSF School of Dentistry where she taught once a week on Fridays. Prior to joining Trident Smiles Dental, she further advanced her dentistry by practicing as the lead dentist at Facebook’s HQ.

She loves zumba and secretly wishes she was a professional dancer.
