About Dr. Raja
Dr. Raja earned her Doctor of Dental Science degree from UCSF School of Dentistry after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at University of California San Diego. During her time at UCSF, she was honored with the Alumni Award for Clinical Excellence in recognition of her outstanding clinical skills.
She went on to complete an additional year of residency at UCSF through the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program, further strengthening her expertise in comprehensive patient care. Dr. Raja is a Diamond Plus Invisalign specialist - an elite distinction awarded to the top 1% of specialists who complete over 200 Invisalign treatment cases every six months.
Prior experience
With extensive experience in both complex general and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Raja was selected to serve as an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF School of Dentistry, where she taught weekly for three years following her graduation. She continued to refine her clinical skills as the lead dentist at Facebook headquarters before joining Trident Smiles Dental.
Dr. Raja is also actively pursuing advanced training in airway-focused dentistry, with a particular interest in treating obstructive sleep apnea to improve patients’ overall health and quality of life.

She loves Zumba and secretly wishes she was a professional dancer.
