Dr. Joujou Nguyenphuc grew up near Los Angeles and has long been passionate about working in the sciences and creative arts. He studied psychology and music at Stanford University, graduating with academic honors and earning recognition for his public service from the University President, the Phi Beta Kappa Society, and the Haas Center for Public Service. He then worked with Bay Area community nonprofits and in the music and food industries before finding his calling in dentistry.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry, followed by endodontic specialty training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Nguyenphuc is an active, board-eligible member of the American Association of Endodontists and stays involved in community outreach and teaching, having delivered numerous guest lectures.
He speaks English and Spanish, and prioritizes making his patients feel relaxed, cared for, and well-informed. Outside the practice, he plays several musical instruments, explores new cooking techniques, fixes bikes, and takes his cats on walks.
