Dental Monitoring – A great smile with fewer visits

At Trident Smiles Dental, we’ve made Invisalign treatment easier with Dental Monitoring, perfect for busy Bay Area patients. A typical 12 to 18 month Invisalign case usually requires 8 to 10 office visits. With Dental Monitoring, most patients only need 2 to 4 visits - that’s up to 80 percent fewer appointments.

Using a scan tool and app, you’ll send us weekly progress scans from home. We’ll track your tooth movement, check your bite, and make sure everything is on track without interrupting your schedule. You still get the same great Invisalign results, just with fewer visits and more convenience.

What is Invisalign?
FAQ Link

The Invisalign tray system renders a modern straightening method for ultimate orthodontic camouflage to help you get the smile you want, the way you want it. Invisalign aligners are removable, invisible and work to gradually straighten your teeth while preventing orthodontic issues.

What does Invisalign do?
FAQ Link

The Invisalign treatment is designed to create a digital plan that maps out the exact movements of your teeth. The clear aligners apply the right amount of force to the right places based on a customized plan  and the treatment’s goals set by you and your doctor.

Invisalign vs braces: What’s the difference?
FAQ Link

Unlike braces, no wires and brackets are involved in the process. Invisalign is an innovative alternative to metal braces, offering you lasting results without wires or brackets, but only translucent, flexible plastic and removable clear braces.

Invisalign vs Direct to consumer braces: What’s the difference?
FAQ Link

Users of the Direct to consumer braces are responsible to make their own molds and are not monitored by any specialist. Invisalign, on the other hand, is not only a better but also a safer alternative. You get one-on-one attention, an orthodontist that takes X-rays, assesses your bite, how the teeth fit together, looks at previous dental work, and checks the gums' condition, none of them can be done remotely.

What does Top 1% Diamond Plus Invisalign specialist mean?
FAQ Link

Diamond Plus is the top status that an orthodontist can earn, as it requires that an orthodontist completes 200 cases every 6 months (400 a year!). The accreditation comes from Invisalign, and it gives a clear indication of an orthodontist’s experience and expertise working with the Invisalign system.
